Blazer Jobs is hiring three (3) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support schools in Romeoville, Illinois for the 20252026 school year. These are temporary backfill positions offering competitive pay, flexibility, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment.
About the Role
The selected SLPs will provide evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring services to students with communication needs across multiple campuses. Each assignment will be structured based on the districts caseload and scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Deliver therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support inclusive education through consultation with teachers and families
Qualifications

Active Illinois SLP License

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required

Prior school-based experience preferred
